MacAD.UK 2023 Ticket Purchase Policy – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 MacAD.UK (The Event) is organised and managed by Amsys Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with registration 2052274 and registered office at Byron House, 2 Lower Road, Kenley, Surrey, CR8

1.2. You are the Ticketholder (You). You acknowledge and agree that you shall be solely responsible for all costs that you incur relating to your attendance at the Event (including, without limitation, any travel costs, the costs of any temporary staff and all costs incurred by you in exercising the ticket benefits.

 

  1. GENERAL TICKET PURCHASE POLICY

 This Purchase Policy sets out the terms and conditions applicable to purchases of Tickets for The Event.

(a) “Early Bird Tickets”: these are tickets sold to pre-registered and early bird promotions with limited quantities available. These tickets are sold at a discounted rate which is lower than the standard ticket These are sold on a first come first serve basis.

(b) “Standard Tickets”: these are tickets sold outside of any promotion, offer, multibuy discount or education discount. These tickets are sold throughout the duration of tickets sales period

(c)“Education Discount Tickets”: These tickets are sold to and applicable for all educational professionals, staff, students with valid Educational discount ID. These tickets are available throughout the duration of tickets sales period and are subject to proof of ID/Education discount. These tickets are sold with a discounted rate off standard ticket price.

(d) “Multibuy Tickets”: these tickets are sold throughout the duration of tickets sales period and are subject to multibuy ticket discount for 2, 3 and 4 ticket purchases. These tickets are sold outside of any other promotion.

 

Please note, purchased tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded. If you are unable to attend the event your ticket can be transferred to another individual, but you must inform us of their details as quickly as possible. If you cannot find an alternate attendee then Amsys may, at their sole discretion, transfer the ticket to a future event.

Please note, purchased tickets must be paid for via Credit Card or request by Invoice. All invoiced tickets must be paid for in their entirety within 15 days to obtain a valid entry pass at Event Registration.

Please note, e-ticket or purchase confirmation must be brought to registration with a valid ID to obtain your entry pass to the show. Invoice and Confirmation of ticket purchased is sent to the registered email address on purchase of tickets. E-tickets will be sent prior to the event to the registered email address.

Please note, all ticket prices are subject to VAT

 

  1. YOUR OBLIGATIONS

3.1. comply, without limitation, with all relevant laws and regulations in force that relate to the promotion of The Event;

3.2. comply with any instructions or directions issued by or on behalf of The Event;

3.3. you shall not do, or omit to do, (and you shall procure that none of your employees, agents or contractors shall do, or omit to do) anything which may: (i) bring The Event or the other party into disrepute; (ii) disparage The Event or Amsys; (iii) damage our goodwill associated with The Event; or (iv) be otherwise prejudicial to the image and/or reputation of The Event or

3.4. for the avoidance of doubt it shall be your responsibility to take out and maintain appropriate insurance in relation to any risks under or in relation to this Agreement or your participation in the event.

3.5. you shall comply with all relevant laws and regulations which may apply in relation to your involvement in the Event and you will indemnify and keep indemnified and defend (at your own expense) us against all costs, claims, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by us or for which we may become liable due to any failure by you or your employees or agents to comply with any of your obligations under this Agreement or any applicable laws and

 

  1. OUR OBLIGATIONS

4.1. We shall provide the ticket/attendee benefits and organise The Event using reasonable skill and care and will consult with the ticket/attendee purchasers (on aspects of The Event where we deem it appropriate to do

4.2. The ticket/attendee benefits are personal to you and we are not obliged to provide the tickets benefits (or any part of them) to any other entity or individual unless transferred as outlined in clause 2.

 

  1. CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT & FORCE MAJEURE

5.1.Amsys Limited shall not be deemed to be in breach of this Agreement or otherwise liable to you for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under this Agreement (including but not limited to, an event of force majeure where such event though not directly affecting the Event, may have an adverse effect on the commercial success of the Event).Amsys may,  at its sole discretion, be entitled to cancel or postpone the event and Amsys Limited shall give written notice to the ticket/attendee purchaser of its decision as soon as reasonably practicable, and upon receipt of such notice:

(a) in the case of cancellation of the Event the ticket/attendance purchaser shall be entitled to:

(i) terminate this Agreement and to the extent that any Ticket Benefits have not been received (or only a proportion of a Ticket Benefit has been received) at the date of such termination, obtain a refund of such proportion of Ticket Fees as Amsys Limited may reasonably calculate; or

(ii) elect to apply the Ticket Fee (whether or not paid to Amsys Limited) to another Amsys Limited event, provided that the date of such event is less than 18 months from the date of such cancellation; or

(b) in the case of postponement of the Event:

(i) where the new Event date is less than 2 months away from the original Event date, the Ticket/Attendee purchaser is deemed to accept the new Event date and may not terminate this Agreement or elect to apply the ticket Fee to another Amsys Limited event; or

(ii) where the new Event date is more than 2 months, but less than 18 months away from the original Event Date:

(1) elect to apply the Ticket Fee (whether or not paid to Amsys Limited) to another Amsys Limited event, provided that the date of such event is not greater than 18 months from the date of cancellation; or

(2) where the new Event date is more than 18 months from the original Event date, the Ticket/Attendee Purchaser may terminate this Agreement and to the extent that any Ticket Benefits have not been received (or only a proportion of a Ticket Benefit has been received) at the date of such termination notice, obtain a refund of such proportion of the Ticket Fees as Amsys Limited may reasonably calculate.

For the avoidance of doubt, where the Ticket/Attendee Purchaser elects to apply the Ticket Fee to another Amsys Limited event, Amsys Limited is under no obligation to provide the same Ticket Benefits for the same Ticket Fee.

5.2. Amsys Limited shall not be deemed to be in breach of this Agreement or otherwise liable to the Ticket/Attendee Purchaser for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement as a result of an event or series of connected events outside the reasonable control of Amsys Limited (including, without limitation, acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts or threats of terrorism, periods of National Mourning, strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action or a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness).

5.3. The aggregate liability of Amsys for all claims shall not exceed an amount equal to the amount paid by You for the tickets. 

5.4. Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude a party’s liability for:

5.4.1. death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or the negligence of its employees, agents or subcontractors;

5.4.2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

5.4.3. any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law.

 

  1. GENERAL

6.1. This Agreement contains the entire agreement and understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings or arrangements (both oral and written) relating to the subject matter of this Event

6.2. You may not assign, sub licence or otherwise transfer any of your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent.

6.3. You acknowledge that you have not relied on, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, warranty, understanding, promise or assurance (whether negligently or innocently made) of any person other than as expressly set out in this Agreement (save that this shall not apply so as to limit or exclude either party’s liability for fraud).

6.4. This Agreement shall not create, nor shall it be construed as creating, any partnership or agency relationship between The Event organisers and You

6.5. This Agreement and the rights and obligations of both parties shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales, the parties irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.



  1. LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT
  2. In order to make a purchase from us, you must be 18 years old or more and able to enter into a legally binding contract.
  3. Any purchase from us forms a legally binding contract that is subject to: (i) this Purchase Policy; (ii) any special terms and conditions stated to be applicable to The Event; (iii) other terms and conditions of The Event Partner(s) and/or The Event; and (iv) any venue terms and conditions (including conditions of entry). You should read this Purchase Policy carefully before you make a purchase.
  4. By purchasing one or many tickets from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Purchase Policy. If you do not agree with this Purchase Policy or any other applicable terms and conditions, or if you cannot comply with any of them, then you must not make a purchase.
  5. We reserve the right from time to time to make changes to this Purchase Policy. Where we make any such changes, we shall post the updated version of this Purchase Policy on our Therefore, we recommend you check this Purchase Policy regularly to stay informed of its current terms and conditions. All purchases are subject to the applicable version of this Purchase Policy that was published at the time of purchase. If you do not agree with any revised version of this Purchase Policy, or if you cannot comply with it, then you must not make a purchase.
