FAQs

Take a look at some of the common questions we get below. If you have a question please reach out to macad@macad.uk.

Where is MacAD.UK 2024 being held?

MacAD.UK takes place at the Doubletree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, a long-standing venue choice for the event. Over the past few years, we have closely considered input from the Mac admin community, who expressed their desire for a space where they can network and discuss workflows away from the hustle and bustle.

Do I need to come to the whole event?

Feel free to customise your conference experience! Your ticket covers both conference days and the fun evening networking events. With three stages packed with exciting content, you can simply pick and choose what catches your eye the most.

What is the event’s agenda or schedule?

We’re in the final stages of putting together the agenda for the 2024 event, and you’ll be able to find all the details on the agenda page right here on our website. Get ready for a dynamic blend of industry experts, vendor partners specialising in Mac management, security, and beyond, alongside engaging demos and valuable training opportunities. Keep an eye on the Agenda page for full details nearer to the event but feel free to take a look at the sponsors and speakers pages to see who you can expect to hear from.

How much does it cost to attend, and are there any discounts?

The standard conference ticket is priced at £450 ex VAT, and we’ve made every effort to keep the costs down this year. We also have special discounts for delegates from educational institutions and those interested in purchasing multiple tickets – full details can be found on the Tickets page.

What should I bring with me to the event?

Some of our attendees prefer a break from their daily routines and use the event for extensive networking, so they bring only the essentials. others like to occasionally dip into work, so they bring their laptops. However, please keep in mind that the venue doesn’t provide secure storage.

Will there be any guest speakers or presenters, and who are they? Absolutely! We are in the process of announcing our speakers at the minute and many of these can be found here. We’re still finalising everything though so keep an eye out as this page is changing every week!

Are meals and refreshments included in the ticket price?

You can look forward to a light lunch, as well as tea and coffee on both conference days, all available in the expo area. Your ticket also includes welcome drinks on the evening of May 22nd and a casual networking dinner with drinks on May 23rd. You should make additional arrangements outside of these times.

Is there a recommended hotel or accommodation for out-of-town attendees?

As the event approaches, we know many are looking to book accommodations. We recommend the following options for their proximity and flexible rates:

Brighton also offers a wide range of choices within a short walking distance from the venue.
